I am just back from cycling Barcelona to Paris in 9 days, going through the Pas De La Casa in the Pyrenees... going from the Arc de Triomph in Barca to the Arc de Triomph in Paris
I will take a year off from doing something big then I intend to cycle 800 miles-or-so from my hometime of Bournemouth to the Brandenburg Gate, Berlin over a 9 or 10 day period
The route will go through Ypres http://www.greatwar.co.uk/ypres-salient/memorial-menin-gate.htm and Passendale http://www.ww1battlefields.co.uk/flanders/passchendaele.htm and other places of significance along the way.
I hope to be able to include the Njimegen march as part of the overall effort, but time may not permit that....we'll see. http://www.4daagse.nl/en.html
